Ok so I just decided on a G&G GR15. I was wondering what is a good battery for it. Thank you!!!
A 9.6v would be good if you don't want to deal with high power battery's. Make sure it's a nun chuck.
Thank you much!! Will be buying
Any brands that I should go with??
Doesn't matter . just make sure it works.
I've heard good coming from Intellect nun-chucks.
You know I've said this before, but if you don't know what kind of battery you should use in your gun you haven't done enough research, I use 9.6v and 8.4v batteries, you may need a nunchuck battery depending on if you have a crane stock I would also advise a battery with above 1000 mah. like caltacairsoft said intellect is a good brand for batteries.
Your chosen gun stores the battery in one of two ways, depending on whether or not it has a rail system. If it has a rail system, then you need to buy this battery or a similar pack from another company (intellect is decent):
If your gun does not have a rail system, then you want to buy this battery or a similar pack from another company:
Contrary to CQB's [terrible] advice, battery brand does matter. A better cell gives you a better discharge curve, less resistance, often a long battery life per charge, and a lifetime for the pack itself. I like Elite packs, and Intellect isn't bad. If you're going NiCD (you probably shouldn't), Sanyo makes great packs.
I know a lot about the gun. I just wanted some other peoples opinions.
I use a BlackHawk! magazine pouch for the stock, and it holds two 7.4v Lipo's. Its awesome. I don't use it for my GR15, but my G&P since the G&G needs deans. I spent $20 on two Lipo's with 4400 combined mah and deans, compared to my Tenergy which I spent $30 on.
I go to cheapbatteries.com. They have some pretty good deals going. And any 9.6 or 7.4 lipo will do.
