I have an Echo 1 Timberwolf. At first it worked completely fine. Now the slide will not lock back when the magazine is empty. The bb follower nob is not broken. It seems that the mags just done hold as much gas to push the slide back far enough. Any help/ suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is your can of gas full?
    Is the slide clean?
What temperature is it when you notice this problem?
Is there any gas spewing out (white clouds when shooting)?

This happened with my KWA. New slide stop fixed it.

This just doesn't have any relation to the issue. Raven pointed to the most obvious reasons as to why this occurs for the OP.

How does that not have any relation? On my KWA, the slide wouldn't lock back upon the last BB being fired. The magazine follower was not broken. A new slide stop fixed the problem. He has the exact same circumstances.

Because it's clearly a gas problem, not a mechanical failure with the slide release being worn down.

If gas isn't cycling the slide enough to allow the release to lock, then it isn't going to be the problem.

Ahh, misread the post. You're correct again, sir.
