Well.....is it worth it or not...?
It's really all based on what do you want to get out of or do with it.

The 417 is sexy as hell, but personally I'd rather have the 416, just for the mag compatibility.

Lil Shadys got a point, I'd also prefer the 416. I mostly use all madcap p-mags so if I had to I'd go for the 416 (in my opinion)

P-mags do not work with the 416... So I'd expect the same with the 417.

I've got the VFC 416 and like it well enough.

He maybe talking about E mags and Pmags do work with some modification. The 417 is cool and different but again mag compatibility, heard the mags available are not that great, and pouches for the mags.

I gotta give this one to the 417, (man, has there been a lot of talk about this gun lately) I'm going to do some research some time today and figure out a few things that I want to know before I buy myself one. But if everything looks good I would expect to have this gun in the coming months.

As for extra magazines, seeing as there doesn't seem to be any mag pouches for them I'll probably just put them in a backpack I carry with me when I play. Sure quick reloads will suck, but my overall plan is to create a DMR out of the gun (duh!!), so reloading won't be as much of an issue compared to a regular AEG.

You made me start laughing in school... :D
The Asian edition will most likely have a lower powered spring inside the gun due to Asian laws prohibiting airsoft guns being over (300 FPS I believe?).
