    If you want to record it can help.And if you don't like getting shot in the head there useful,But if your doing a specific impression you may need a specific helmet.

    Yeah, as am I. NOTHING is needed in airsoft besides a gun and eyepro. Maybe not even a gun

    Man spoons are where its at. I'm a World War I era collector:

    You see the long wooden one? Its my favorite. Its very flexible so it has a high FPS and the handle is extra long for range.

    To answer the ops question. No you do not NEED a helmet for most airsoft games. I say most because I have heard of milsim ops in abandoned housing complexes and factories with head level objects and debris you can run into that require helmets. But most people wear helmets to prevent shots to the head as well as to just look cool. 50% of airsoft is a fashion show.
