    Hi Everyone,

So my brothers airsoft gun has broken in a number of different places. I've taken it apart and if I can get all the right pieces I think I can repair it. This is my first time doing this though so I am in need of some help.

So first, here is a picture of the M4 or M16 disassembled.:

Next, here is a picture of the lower receiver. It is the first part that is broken:

Next, here is a picture of the upper receiver. It is broken as well:

Here is a picture of the broken hop up unit:

Here is a picture of a piece that feeds bbs from the mag to the hop up. Not sure what its called. Perhaps part of the hop up?:

If I can find all of these pieces I am certain I can fix it. Problem is I am having trouble finding correct replacements. I would also love to go with full medal, but currently all of these pieces are plastic.

So some questions on finding the pieces

For the lower receiver I found this:
    AIM, ABS Plastic, $20, http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=34617
And it looks like a perfect match. Any problems you see?

For the upper receiver I have found this:
    AIM, ABS Plastic, $20, http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=25_95&products_id=34615
But I have noticed it is a bit different than my brothers. This has some threading up front while my brothers just locks into place. Anyone know where I can get a replacement for this piece?

I need to replace a receiver pin as well since I am missing one. I am thinking this one:
    $10, http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=25_95&products_id=26494

For the hop up and what I am calling the mystery piece I have noticed many hop up units seem to have the mystery unit built into them. Am I able to buy these as one? Any suggestions for a hop up unit just to fix this gun?

Also I have seen a kit like this:
Full Metal Kit with Everything Needed, $80, http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=25_95&products_id=34460
Which would you nice but once again it has that threading.

Do you guys notice any land minds I am going to hit as I try to fix this gun? Do you know any better places to get parts like this?

    Thanks

    EDIT: Found my mystery part...

what brand is the m4/16 originally? as for the threading on the receivers, it looks to me like it snapped off in the barrel assembly of your brother's gun. as for the broken parts, I'm not sure what's broken on the lower receiver or hop up unit

    The m4/m16 is a TM.

As for the threading, yeah I figured that out. I had not taken the threading part off the barrel. So it in fact does have that threading on it.

I went ahead and ordered this kit since it has everything I need:
    http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=25_95&products_id=28642

I guess I will find out in a week if everything fits.

The lower receiver has the screw tabs on the far left broken off. On the hop up you can't see it in the picture but the adjustment gear has in fact its back plastic broken.

    Thanks!

ah, now I see, the broken part on lower. It looks like that kit should fit as it says it fits JG guns, which are TM clones
