I just recently bought a "matrix single point bungee sling" and I got it today. I put the sling on and my gun sags to the floor. Given that I'm around 5'3-4 is it how I'm using it?

Can anyone please help me? I would like to know how your supposed to wear it. I know the gun is supposed to be at a high position for a fast transaction to a sidearm.

Give us a picture of it connected to your gun. That might help.

Have you tightened the sling at all?

Shorten the non-bungie part of the sling.

I do tighten the non bungee part but it loosens .

It just loosens? Well that shows the quality of Matrix stuff...

Haha well it was a $12 sling. But should I place something in the extra space to make it more resistant?

Once you get it where you like it, tie the loose end in a knot around the adjustment buckle to keep it from loosening.

If you don't want that excess strap hanging off, roll it up loosely, flatten it down, and e-tape it to the rest of the sling. It'll keep it from tangling up on you and catching on crap as you wade through the woods.
