    Hello, again. This is to help me and hopefully other players. My hop up right now goes like this : .............................................=========
    ............................................/....................\
    .........................................../.......................\
    ==================/..........................\
    ......................................................................\

    Is that correct? or should it just be a straight line. My shots goes straight for a decent while and then hops and ends up hitting targets. Is that correct way a hop up should look?
    IGNORE THE ...... JUST THE == OR / \.

    I don't quite understand the image, lol.

    Hop-up puts backspin on the BB to counteract some of the force of gravity.

    I drew this beautiful drawing in paint to help understand. Red is the path of the BB.

    This is just a basic dive into physics. Backspin is applied inside the barrel from the pressure of the hop up nub. It doesn't just appear out of nowhere some indiscriminate distance down the range. Ballistic trajectories aren't perfectly flat either, because gravity is a constant deceleration (or acceleration in the downward direction). The spin on the BB interacts with air resistance to produce an upwards effect.

    xD The diagram was better drawn in my head. It turns out my hop up is already set perfectly according to your drawing.

    Btw, your drawing made more sense than mine :D.
