So, I'm looking for basically not an M4, and the G36 appeals too me. Clean, ambidextrous, somewhat futuristic, its a nice looking gun. Both guns have good externals, but not sure about how the Elite Force's internals stack up to the ICS's internals. ICS has very good internals, hopup, and pre-installed tightbore barrel. Also has a decent motor. The Elite Force has blowback, but is it a gimmick? Anyways, one pro of the ICS is it takes M4 mags, which I have plenty of.

The only downside to taking the G33 is that you're stuck with it being short, if that matters to you. Can't move up to full carbine length.

Otherwise, it's definitely the better deal. Both guns are about the same quality, but the KWA's price is inflated by the licensing costs, and the G33 has the adjustable stock on it.

If you want something else but still want a G36, the evike custom ones wouldn't be a bad choice. Most have buffer tubes and aluminium handguards on them. Or, they have this one at $102, and you just buy whatever stock and handguard you want to go on it. Comes with both magwells.

Any electric 'blow back' is a gimmick.
The ICS is better in pretty much every respect, apart from the fact it doesn't have the licensed trades plastered all over it.
ICS do a fairly comprehensive range of different hand guards etc if you want to play with the appearance.

I just wanted to point out that AFAIK the KWA G36c does not have blowback. It's the Ares (EF) G36c that does. That one is discontinued I believe.
I'd go with the ICS unless you want an actual G36.
