The plastic hop up of my ICS CXP-08 isn't applying any backspin on the BBs
I've already checked the bucking and the spacer and none of them seems to have any problems. Any idea what the problem could be?

Did you clean it with an oil? If you did take it out and wash it with soap and water to get the oil off.

No, I've just cleaned the barrel with paper and alcohol. I've put oil only on the external part of the bucking

What do you see when you look down the barrel with the hop-up fully engaged?

The bucking is deformed by the spacer, but when I shoot there is no noticeable change in the BBs trajectory

With "deformed" I meant that the hop up simply does its job pushing on the bucking

Then that is a mystery that is not presenting itself by text descriptions.

Only thing left is to try a softer packing.
