You would be happy with both of those guns. They are very solid options.

I've owned both and I'd say the ICS. Or a spear. Your choice

I would say ICS. The split Gearbox design makes it super easy to upgrade.

"starts chant" ICS! ICS! ICS! But in all seriousness get the ICS. It's split gearbox design make its easy for upgrading and common maintenance. I know for the m4's they have a forward assist that loosens the spring tension making the spring last longer. I also have two ICS guns so I speak from experience.

    WHAT?!
If you will contribute you should put evidence (it helps the OP).

Honestly, the ICS would be much better.
The G&G combat machine has many problems. Their motors are notoriously slow. My old one can barely pull an M110 spring.
ICS on the other hand have amazing stock performance. Their split gearbox design makes modification a whole lot easier. The feel of the G&G bodies are nicer. Don't get me wrong, ICS bodies feel great too but G&G makes great plastic bodies.
ICS makes very nice M4s, some of the best for the price. ICS gets my vote.

If it's its sport line vs sport line I would take g&g I own a couple ics prolines and they are better than g&gs m4s but I don't trust the reliability if ics sportlines

Combat Machine =/= G&G Sportline. Get your facts right.

Get the one you like more because they have almost the exact same internals. The only difference will be the barrel length.

They have the same problems. Their "competitive series" and even some of their prolines have weak motors.
OP: Beware that the some ICS guns use a proprietary battery.

ICS is really good and so is G&G but for M4s ICS because they can be upgraded easier
