From what I've seen do the do it yourself mods first. Then buy parts.

    So first,

Shim. Sounds simple but take your time! Make it PERFECT!

Correcting aoe will increase the longevity of the gun, and high speed builds need all the reliability they can have.

    Fix the compression.
This will give more fps and more consistent shots.

    Regrease.

    Once all that is done,

Get metal bushings if the stock ones aren't metal.
I'd reccomend an m120 spring, lonex or Shs high speed motor, polycarbonate metal rack piston. (Shs is cheap), get a nice ported piston head. Aluminum air nozzle with o ring.
    Shs 16:1 ratio gears.
    A MOSFET.
    Deans.
Hop up bucking (systema or mad bull)
And if you have money a nice barrel will do you good.

    Shim
    Regrease
    Correct angle of engagement
    Swiss cheese piston
    Install Deans connectors
Lonex 16:1's (Have more consistent QC than SHS)
    Lonex TITAN A1 Red motor
    G&G pinion gear
    Guarder pinion puller
    Prometheus 6.03 TBB
    R-Hop
    M-Nub
    Barrel Lock Down kit

I would replace the Lonex's stock pinion gear with a G&G pinion gear (hence the pinion gear and puller). A friend of mine stripped a JG bevel with the G&G pinion. It was still intact after shredding the JG bevel. G&G gears are built like TANKS.

As for SHS parts, they may be cheap, but they have a TON of quality control issues. Unless you want to take the risk, I wouldn't buy from them.
