just bought a MOE carbine sportline and i was wondering what I can do to make it a better cqb weapon
Could we have a brand? And for a start a shorter barrel and a lighter spring so it is CQB legal (at sanctioned fields).
I assume this is a Classic Army sportline...
One of the most effective (in my opinion) upgrades you can make for CQB are high speed gears paired with a Lonex Red motor.
I was also thinking it was the Classic Army but just wanted to be sure. Also, OP are you looking for a high ROF?
If its a CA then he won't have to lower the spring. Those things shoot around 330 out of the box. But OP, it all depends on what you're wanting. You make it looks, high speed, looks and high speed, etc.
Trigger response is obviously essential for CQB, so I second the suggestion of a Lonex A1 with high speed gears. Pair that with a 30A+ 11,1v li-po and you'll be doing 40+rps with instant trigger response. Might have to use a heavier spring and short stroke to avoid premature engagement of the piston.
classic army is the brand and i only have $100 to spend
