Is grey a good color for urban environments?

So today, I was looking through my closet trying to find something to wear and I found an old pair of grey cargo pants that surprisingly still fit. I wore them for a bit and they were very comfortable and looked a lot like some tactical pants that I had seen. That got me wondering if they would be functional in a urban environment as camouflage. What do you guys think?

In a very urban environment I would wear jeans a shirt and a vest.

Yes. Grey would work well in an urban environment.

Hell if they are old and you won't be using them for day to day stuff get some rust-oleum camo paint and give them a VERY LIGHT dusting in a pattern that blends into your AO. I've did that with a new pair of khakis before a contractor class and it works great. Just remember to go light or your pants will be ruined.

Okay thanks! Approximately how far away should I keep the spray can from the pants?

Think of ACU, that's grey. Does ACU work well in urban enviorments? Yes.
