I was looking at the JG 614 earlier (because I cat afford a VFC or Echo1) as well as a G&G GR15 Raider-L, and I was wondering what gun YOU would choose, these are my top two so don't yell at me

I've done a little more research and found out that the RIS on the 614 tends to wobble, and the buffer tube doesn't accept many other stocks, I'm gunna keep looking and see if I can find a nice challenge kit to build in an hour or so...

Personally, I'd still go with the JG. Really all you'd have to to do is tighten a few screws.

G&G by far. Way better internals and you can do more with it.

Some will disagree with that statement.

Actually, JG's are more solid recently. And you cannot do more to it, same internal parts I believe.....

On G&G, it depends, does he know how to perform DIY mods? If not, buy the G&G, if he does buy a JG. A JG with proper tuning will out-perform a lot of stock guns.

I know a couple basic mods (Swiss cheesing, shimming) but not much more than that, never had the time ti learn really, but I know my way around any Ver. 2 GB and I'm very comfortable working on them, I'm now getting a G&G challenge kit, any objections? :D
