KJW 1911's can accept TM 1911 parts and WE parts. KWA is the odd ball.

now 1911 hi-capa VS 1911 meu is not as fine a line. some parts are cross compatible. IIRC from the slide down are not cross comp.

Is the Les Baer a hi-capa or an meu?

Looks like an MEU. on the link you sent, there is another KJW on the site which specifies "hi capa style" so its safe to assume the les baer is an MEU.

plus, the body looks like an MEU.

Ok thanks for all the information. Im not really wanting to go swap parts on the internals so as long as i can swap slides, grips, etc ill be fine.

Im not sure the grips are interchangable.

consider the MEU is more realistic considering mag size, grip, a feel to real steel.

    the hi-cappa IIRC can hold 4 more bb's. 30+1 vs 26+1

but hands down, the Hi-capa can hold more of a charge.

Im much more into the realism aspect so that's what i'll go with. :)
