I have a KJW G23 and it took a hard fall in its last game. I have cleaned out the entire thing and oiled it, and when I go to fire it, a little fizzle of gas can be heard, and nothing happens. I tried checking the hammer mechanism, and it seems the pin that strikes the gas valve doesn't reset right, but no matter what position I put it in manually, the gun just won't shoot. Any ideas?

it might not even be your hammer.

you could have damaged the plastic nozzle on the upper slide. check to see if theres any cracks which is causing a compression loss

I'm guessing. I tested it without the slide on to see how the hammer is working, the pin doesn't reset quite right, like it only resets half way, and it doesn't have to momentum to strike right. Could the hammer spring have something to do with this?
