Hi, So recently out of nowhere the mag of my KJW M4 GBBR would drop free out of nowhere while firing. It can even be removed if I pull on it hard enough without even touching the mag release! Would I need to file down the mag part that catches on with it? Or file down the mag release part? Or should I just get a new mag release? Which brands will work with this one? The photo shows the two silver parts that rub against each other.
I'd assume that the mag catch has worn down over time, since I really doubt KWA are shipping with steel catches. I can't find anyone saying a real one will fit, but they're certainly cheaper than buying the official KWA ones and looks like you should be able to use it. You would be surprised how much can be moved back and forth. And this is not new...it's been happening since 2008
