This is a gas blowback gun that I was looking at on evike.com. I am fairly find if M1911's and I was wondering if anyone had owned this gun. I'd like to know how it works and if it is a good gun to own. Here is the link to check it out http://www.evike.com/products/32937/

Just like pretty much any KWA, the internals are proprietary, which makes it impossible to upgrade without parts directly from KWA. I'd get a KJW pistol, which is fully compatible with Tokyo Marui, or a KSC, which, while not TM compatible, has much better quality control than KWA and is generally of superb quality.

Does KJW or KSC have any M1911's?

Yup, KJW does indeed make 1911s.

I have the Mark IV and it's a solid pistol. There's not much difference other than aesthetics like different looking grips. The blowback is crisp and I get average 2 mags worth on a single gas charge which is impressive for such a slim magazine.

what exactly is high capa? I've only been into airsoft for about a month now, and I'm not fairly familiar with some terms.
High capa simply means that the pistol has a wider frame to accomidate a double-stack magazine. They usually hold 25 or 30 bbs instead of the 15 or so that a traditional 1911 holds. They also hold more gas, so you can often get more shots per magazine.

I thought so. When you said high capa and single stack I remember looking at another pistol and seeing that feature. So is high Capa better than single stack?

In a practical sense, yes. It holds more bbs and gas, so you can shoot it more without reloading. However, since the frame is wider, it will not feel the same as a regular single stack 1911. It all depends on your personal preference, really.
