KWA vs VFC internals. I already know VFC has better externals.
KWA has better stock internals but obviously can't be upgraded. But you can make a VFC do much better if you internally upgrade it.
This is a pretty general question. For example, my stock VFC 416 outshot my stock KWA KM4A1 gen 1.
I LOVE the VFC 416 but I have to give this to KWA. While KWA internals are better, they can't be upgraded because KWA uses proprietary parts. But for upgrading VFC is better.
What is proprietary besides air nozzle?
These two guys know nothing. KWA has very few unupgradable parts. Mostly compression parts. KWA can be easily upgraded by any decently skilled tech.
+1. I was trying to see what they were talking about I see more than a few people saying this with no specifics given and several of my teammates have heavily upgraded kwa. Mine is all stock internally, and is great.
Sorry I meant to say uses a lot of proprietary parts.... like the bucking
Funny shark bucking works great... Did you mean the nub? The hop up is tm compatible for sure. Even if I accept that the bucking is proprietary that establishes two parts on the aeg...hardly defined by the generalization "a lot".
Um.....since when is the 2GX ever good....
Let me break this down....
Paying **** ton of money for....
Sintered gear set
crap piston head
small proprietary parts
parts fitting issues
9mm bearings are crap
piston is too hard (cracks)
self shim works but still worse than solid shim
A lot better than KWA.
+1. I have only found the nozzle and gearbox shell to be truly proprietary. I have basically changed out the entire pneumatic train on my SR10 with no problems at all. New SRC motor too. Several of my buddies have switched out the stock gears for SHS high speed gear sets and are getting 38 BBs/sec ROF out of their KM4 RIS without any problems. The non-upgradeable KWA is a myth.
That being said, VFC is also a very good brand. It is upgradeable also. Bottom line - pick the gun you like and run with it.
