    Probably a huge part of why it isnt more popular sadly. Although for my backyard can plinking its worked out pretty well.

    Last question. Should. "Should a krytac complete gearbox fit in the m249 featherweight? Then ideally I'd have one of the stronger boxes to use in my "lmg". Screwed something up in the stock one and I'd rather buy a new one either way then have the start of a spare parts collection. And then trouble shoot later.

    I wouldn't say it would be a drop in. Rather you would need hand fitting to get it to work.

    Plus the featherweight uses a proprietary nozzle, of which I fought and fought air compression issues with and never figured out.
