Looking to mod my gun externally; suggestions?

I own a Cyma m4 with lots of rail space on top, sides, and a little bit on the bottom. Right now i'm just running iron sights and a vertical grip. I got this gun because I have to switch roles and adapt to the different terrain in my field and I know m4's are good for that. I'm looking for attachments that will help me be able to play all around but specializes in range. My budget is about $55 plus shipping.

Well no external upgrades will help your gun perform better or worse. Theres a reason green berets start with good old m16s with iron sights in basic training. They get to have all the fancy toys after they've completed all of the required training.

Where am I going with this? Well, externals... especially in airsoft... dont enhance the skill of the user at all. They might help with say target acquisition, but if you dont have the underlying skills those $1400 pair of nvg's aren't doing much are they. Just get what you think looks cool on your gun. Start out with a red dot, dont buy magnified optics. They will rarely help in airsoft. A solid red dot will be best bang for your buck.

Finally, please dont buy a power up suppresor. They're garbage

There is one external upgrade that'll improve performance (temporarily, at least)...a 14.8v 5000mAh 90c lipo ductaped to the stock

The only external upgrade that's useful is a red dot sight. And a angled or vertical foregrip only if it makes holding the gun more comfy for you.
More mags and better batteries...
