I'm trying to build an C7A2 out of an M4 and knowing that the C7A2 uses the M16A2 style handguard and my M4 is front wired, but after searching all over the internet, I haven't found anyone that's made a review on the M16A2 handguard that holds batteries I'm planning on buying.

Do all M16A2 handguards have enough space to place batteries in the front? Or are there specific M16A2 handguard that need to be used for front wired guns?

You should be fine as far as battery fitment.

Depends on what battery you want to fit in the handguards, but yes, those handguards will accommodate some batteries.
