Hey I seen that there is an electric blowback m4. I was wondering can you buy The internals to make a regular gng aeg to make the same realistic effect?

    Also would this be beneficial?
Would it actually not shoot as well as a regular aeg?

I would look at other threads on blowback guns. I'm pretty sure I saw one on ebb guns a while back.

    Blowback AEGs are typically inefficient.

Are they inefficient because of compression problems?

Not entirely sure what was meant by insufficient, but they're OK. You just have to know what you're getting into.
Mechanical blowback tends to wear out the piston quicker. Pneumatic is better for longevity, but keep in mind because it's uses air, it tends to make your shots a bit inconsistent. It's not huge, but it's there. So if you're going for accuracy or a steady velocity, blowback may not be the best choice for you.

But I personally like pneumatic blowback for it's longevity.

This is exactly what I meant by inefficient;). Basically took the words right off the tip of my tongue.
