Hey guys, I'm working a team mates rifle for him, but before I could even get started iv come across a never before seen problem. There is a cap or something covering the screw to take take off the mag release. Any help?

Bad quality is better than nothing at all.
Try this. Push THAT button so the release on the opposite side is extruded. Take hold of the extruded part and pull it out a little further and then spin it. This should release unscrew the screw and allow you to disassemble the mag release.
I wish I had a video, but I can't find one explaining what I'm talking about.

Can you remove that padding in the inside?

I don't have any thing long enough to pull it out with.

There should be a screw in the stock right in-line with the spring guide. You'll need a long phillips head screw driver to get to it. And yeah, you'll probably have to find a way to pull that padding out. I suggest a trip to home depot and some creative thinking.

    No thanks to me? :)
You may be able to "just stick your fingers in there" and pull it out.
I have a Philips head and flat head screw driver which are each over a foot long and are very useful.

Lol thanks, and no I can't reach it

Edit: I bent a hanger to get the foam out of it and found the phillips head. So again thanks for the help guys.

There is probably a button that releases the cap, or you might just have to pick it off with a scredriver.
