Marine Force Recon and Grunt Loadouts

    Well for all of you wanting to do Marine Corps loadouts I suppose I could put some info and reference pics up:

    Info:
    Camo:
    Arid MarPat, Temperate MarPat, (Try to find w/o eagle, Globe, and Anchor)
    Tan & Sage Green flightsuits.
    (Generally Marines use boot blousers on their pants, a lot of pics have shown MFR dosen't follow that rule)
    Boots:
    Belleville, Danner, Bates, Oakley SI boots
    Nomex Flight Gloves Green or Tan, Mechanix, Oakley SI Assault Gloves, Hatch SOG gloves.

    MICH 2000 w/ Norotos 3 Pt. NVG Shroud, Rhino Swing Arm, painted- Tan, Green or Coyote Brown.(MFR & MEU SOC)
    MICH 2000 w/ MarPat cover and Norotos 3 Pt. NVG Shroud, (MEU SOC & Bat Recon)
    LWH (Light Weight Helmet) with MarPat cover (MEU SOC & STA)


    PACA Low Vis armor carrier
    MBSS Plate Carrier - Coyote Brown (Maritime Ballistic Survival System)
    FSBE II Land CIRAS vest - Coyote Brown (Combat Integrated Releasable Armor System)
    FSBE II RRS-V Rhodesian Recon Vest - Coyote Brown
    Above plate carriers seen with FSBE II pouches.


    Point Blank FSBE AAV (Amphibious Assault Vest) - woodland (for an older MFR/MEU Reconnaissance look). Used with woodland SDS pouches, later on w/ CB MAP's.

    ESS Profile NVG's or Oakley SI A-Frame goggles
    Riggers Belt

    SOPMOD M4 (While on occassion you might see full camo'd M4's with MFR it's rare. Usually they are only allowed to paint the furniture on M4's ie. butt stock, RIS covers, broom handle, pistol grip)

    M16A4

    FROG (Fire Resistant Operational Gear) Desert MARPAT Uniform

    Gentex Light Weight Helmet, Reversible Helmet Cover, Cat Eyes Band, PASGT NVG Mount
    MICH 2000, FSBE II cover (Sometimes w/ MEU), Norotos 3 Pt. or Universal shroud, Rhino Swing Arm.

    Any coyote aftermarket or CIF hydro carriers (IE Source USMC 3L)

    Various Gear:
    Any aftermarket shooting/tactical gloves
    ESS ICE Glasses
    Oakley M-Frame Glasses
    Wiley-X SG-1 Ballistic Goggles
    ESS NVG Profile Goggles
    Boot Blousers
    Riggers Belt
    Assorted Leg Rigs (Aftermarket, or CIF stuff like gas mask carriers)
    BHI Serpa 2nd Gen. USMC stamped for M9.
    Safariland 6004 in FDE, for M9.

    Pouches:
    For older look, mix with woodland and coyote brown pouches. For a modern look:
    AITES IFAK
    Assorted aftermarket or CIF load bearing pouches.

    Comms:
    Selex PRR

    Optics:
    ACOG TA31RCO is issued. Some Marines use EOTech's, Aimpoints, or carrying handles in conjunction.

    For an older look, you can use just Aimpoints or EOTechs.

    Weapons:
    M16A4 is. issued
    M4 is starting to become more common.
    Troops are commonly seen with personally-bought Surefire combat lights, such as M951, M961, M952, M962.

    This should get you started... ? :D

    If you need help with more in-depth loadouts, such as DM (I wouldn't recommend), SAW Gunner, or Officer, just ask me.

    Yeah, same here.
    Bit of recommendation:
    Try the Flyye Land CIRAS (Advertised as Flyye Force Recon Vest Land Version).

    ok i will look into that. oh also being that im both the sniper and one of the squad leaders on my team...woud u happen to know the loadout of a USMC Scout/Sniper? Im really into the whole Marine Corps look and was just wondering what it is that they use in the feild. if u know and wouldnt mind postinf it that would be great! if not no big deal.

    ok will do and that circas vest is pretty sick looking but they can be so expensive :( do the scout snipers wear a vest under their ghillie or is it one or the other?

    Well I'd suggest a chest rig but some wear the full plate carriers underneath only a light layer of ghillie on their backs, as they crawl on their chests.

    Yeah, but I reccomend a Coyote Brown one, Marines haven't used OD gear since Desert Storm :eek:

    yea i kno. that was just the first one that popped up on the site i belive they have tan and thats what im looking for.

    They have it in CB, just search CIRAS, they call it dark tan. (noobs) :D

    Yeah but none of the gear is in anyway correct except for the MICH, but it's still missing the correct NVG mount....there are lots of certain items for a correct FR loadout. :(

    haha i found it but i noticed instead of comeing with the medical ack it has another ppouch for a mag wich i odnt really need but oh well

    Oh by the way, all the pouches are styled after Eagle Industries gear, which makes the real CIRAS's, so it looks fine.
