I have these Swiss Arms/Cybergun bbs. They've got Marushin markings on the back. Were these guys any better than BLS, or are they just nothing special?

    Thanks

Do you think that the current Marushin or Maruzen bbs are of a different mfg, or are they just Japanese-imported BLS? Maruzen's Super Grand Master .28's come to mind. Do you think they're a BLS product, too? They're *so* expensive per quantity, that they *must* be made differently from all the other weights, possibly even a different mfg than BLS, no?

Take note of the APS markings on the box. What on earth could that mean?

Marushin, Maruzen and TM...do not use BLS as their OEM for HW "performance" bbs.

Also, don't go by the info from Infantryshopusa website. It's not the company site and a loose affiliate at best.

I thought BLS made the BB's for everyone except for the Chinese brands (BBKing)? Does that not include the JP brands?

    That is an incorrect assumption.

There are 5 major bb companies and few companies that don't even formally "make" Airsoft bbs.

BLS is the largest, but they are also one of the newer companies. Along with the two China factories both opened production in the 21st Century.

Kai Chang is the oldest and the most skilled BB maker in Taiwan. They have been making bbs since the 1980s...

There is also a boutique maker in Taiwan that also has a facility in China.

I mention it here under column 4 - BIOVal

It probably is. I'd have to heat the stickers off, though. I'll try and swing that right now.

They brought it over in ~2007 via Spartan Imports and the Ho Brother from Airsoft Extreme
