So I'm rebuilding my friend's Matrix M4 and have to replace those god-awful 8mm bearings that came in it. We decided to go with the Modify 8mm steel bearings(ceramics were sold out) and will be using them with the stock 18:1's that came in the gun.

My question is - Do I grease these ones or not? I know on the ceramics you aren't supposed to but I know those are different from those and so the same rule may not apply.

I have Super Lube 100% Silicone Oil and Permatex White Lithium available to me to use, if that matters at all.

I have those modify bearings and I greased it with white lithium grease. It seemed to make the gears spin a lot less when I hand spun them, however, I don't think it makes a difference in performance.
