I got a Elite Force M4 CQB and the fps is 345. How am I able to get it to 380-400 range?
Put in a stronger spring, do commpression mods, use spring spacers, use piston weights
Any of those will work, what is yor fps range for instance 342-350 or 467-513, and do you have a chrono
For more fps, every option involves disassembling the entire gearbox.
If you're confident about that, then the quickest and easiest way is to get a stronger spring. Like an M120.
But, the safer and smarter way to do it is get better air seal parts, like a new piston head, new cylinder head, new nozzle, and new spring guide. Then test it again. If it's still under, then get a slightly stronger spring. This way, you can maximize your fps without putting too much stress on the gearbox, gears, and motor.
Thank y'all for the advice
spring spacers are a bad idea, the spring can bind and cause issues. piston weights are a bad idea, all good techs like light weight pistons to avoid pme. the only real way is to get a new spring, but as stated above other mods to improve airseal are always recommended.
