Hey guys, just finished my first AEG build and everything is working good but after shooting for a while my motor starts to warm up my grip. I'm fairly sure the motor is just being worked hard due to my set up but I would appreciate any other input y'all might have.

Here's my set up (at least the parts that I think could be affecting the motor):
    Lonex A1
    SHS 13:1 gears
SHS 15 steel tooth piston (short stroked 3 teeth)
    SHS M120 spring
    stock G&G cylinder
    GATE Titan mosfet/aeg controller
    11.1v 30C 3000mah battery

I've shimmed and re-shimmed these gears and there is no wobble and they all spin freely
I'm thinking the lil Lonex just isn't torquey enough for what i'm asking of it.

    Any thoughts?

Based on your setup and that you have gone through a few mags, this sounds pretty normal.

Thanks for the input. Didn't think it was anything to worry about because its not super hot or affecting the performance of the motor but just wanted to play it on the safe side and learn from it if I could considering it was my first build.
