Barrels are pretty low on your priority list. First, you should tune the gearboxes and hop-ups. Then, upgrade what you would like to see an increase in performance from.

Do you know what flat-hop and r-hop are? Those when well tuned, used with heavy bb's(.28+), and a gearbox with consistent compression(~3 fps) are your best route to great range and accuracy on a cheap budget. After those upgrades you should, replace bushings with steel, metal ball bearing spring guide and a JG Blue. If you have money left over buy 13:1 gearset and a Lonex red piston from mystery's website(hivemindairsoft) Read Tackett's guide to 100% compression.

    SAR 10
-I know your budget, but if it takes VSR Hop ups, change out the chamber for one that takes AEG barrels. Then use a Lonex 70 bucking.
    -Flat hop it

    JG m4
-Use the stock bevel with the CORE gearset.
    -Get some steel bushings
    -Steel ball bearing spring guide
-Stock piston will last for a while
-May want to replace the piston head
    -Lonex M4 nozzle for sure
    -Rewire to 16 AWG
    -Flat hopped Lonex 70

    Cyma M14
-Lonex M4 nozzle (CYMAs have off spec nozzles and the m4 nozzles should work)
-Get a nylon/full metal rack piston. The new shipments of ZCI and SHS pistons are good to go (if from clandestine)
    -Solid steel bushings
-if replacing piston head, get an aluminum one
    -Rewire to 14 AWG wire
    -Flat hopped Lonex 70

    Jg t3-k3
    -forget the barrel
    -metal bushings
    -Rewire to 16 AWG
    -Metal ball bearing spring guide
    -Lonex 70 flat hopped
    -Lonex nozzle

I think I'm gonna have to put the sar on the back burner because I just replaced its barrel.

Whoops, overlooked that. Grab a nine ball bucking in that case. They're a purple colour.

Question why does the m14 have 14 awg cables instead of 16awg

The M14 can fit thicker wires due to the external wiring system it employs.

Where's a good place to get shims and wiring. And a cheap MOSFET

Clandestineairsoft.com carries all of those. Or if you can solder you can just buy a MOSFET (the actual component) and wire it up yourself.

Bump where is a good place to get a MOSFET and which ones do you suggest that won't break the bank.

Clandestine has pretty weird restocking dates, I never know when they'll have stuff again.

As far as I know, the only way to suppress a gas gun is by disabling the blowback, and padding a lot of hit points.

Bludragon sells MOSFETs in the classifieds on here for not a lot of money. Only around $15 IIRC.

I can't find him from the app. Are there specific types to stay away from??

AB MOSFETs, and MOSFETs that are just pass throughs, like many burst controllers. You'll probably have to find Bludragon on the actual site. Extreme-fire also has schematics for all of their MOSFETs on their website, if you want to make one of those.
