Opps...I missed that one...
Late to the party, but man TM should have made a shorty version. My biggest issue with my spas is it’s excessive length. Me and my dremel are getting ideas..
Do it and post results.
I pipe cutter would be a much better tool.
Well, I got the SPAS-12 back, and I must say, I am impressed.
They managed to break off the front and rear sights, the choke, and the detent pin for the folding stock, left side. The bolt-handle can almost rotate 360-degrees. The folding stock can just barely hold in place while shouldered...
These were grown men that I sold this to.
I cannot perform this mod as a result...Why would a pipe cutter be more effective than a dremel? Those things look like a knife. I'd rather use a hacksaw with a new blade.
I believe Guges is referring to one of these:
They do make much cleaner cuts than a dremel or hacksaw.
And it's perfectly on axis around the OB too...litterally...no "hack" job...
I picked up a small one at an ACE hardware store for like 10 bucks a few years back for a tent poll project. It’s the perfect size for barrel cutting. I used it to cut the orange protruding tip off my USP to make it look better….now it looks more like the real thing…
