Ok so I have woodland bdus but soon i want digital woodland. What should i do for a good impression.
Impressions cost upwards of $700, if not in the thousands. Are you ready to spend that much?
Yes i will buy it over a good amount of time
Ok, that is outa my expertise. Although Kneif is going to have a field day with this. Wait until he is on, and sees this.
First off, what kind of gun(s) do you currently have?
I dont currently have a gun but i was looking at the tan G&G gr15 raider
Alright, as to the gun, what is your price range?
For right now the most I want to spend on a gun is $230 and I want an M4 with rails.
At this point, I'm staying out of this thread. SFS, do yourself a favor and start searching these boards for information. We've covered the basics many times over, and if you put in some leg work you'll come away with a good idea of where to start. Don't buy anything until you know for sure that every detail of it works for a seal kit. If you buy a G&G Raider, for instance, you're finished before you even get started.
Once you've searched here for a few days, go make an account over at Arniesairsoft and read this thread in its entirety. If you don't know any terms or acronyms that get tossed around, google the until you do.
Good luck, and happy researching.
Ok, $230 is a bit low, so if you could save more that would be outstanding. If you can this gun is exactly what you would need.
I'll post an alt later.
That would work for one era of SEAL impression, but it wouldn't work for the most current kit. That'd pair well with Multicam.
I have heard that the current seals are using 417, 416, and MP5s, directly from the source.
You're partially right. They're still using M4's as well as the HK assault rifles, and they phased out the MP5 pretty much completely in lieu of the MP7. And that doesn't include DMR's and sniper rifles.
My friend that flies them says that on their most recent missions, they were using MP5s for Close Quarters. But just about anywhere in Afghanistan, they were using the 417.
417? Just regular SEALs with 417s for just regular missions?
Yea! That's what I said! They like the penetration the heavy round gives.
Unless you can prove your friend's service and his status at a clearance to fly Special Operations missions, I'm inclined to instead believe photographic evidence... Not to be rude, just going by what I know from actual, hard evidence and not hearsay.
Best help you can get right now, quickly.
I don't want to give up who he is, because I just want to be sure he doesn't lose his flight clearance. I don't want him to get in trouble. So, I understand that.
