Hey guys I'm trying to decide what small aeg to get. I run a ics sig 551 dmr and I want something for midrange or cqb! I have a budget of about 160$ and would like a decent rate of fire, and the fps doesn't matter to much.

Do you want a gun that runs CQB out of the box? Or do you want one that would make a good platform for upgrading and if done right, could possibly last you a longer time than the others?

I would prefer out of the box because I love my dmr and put my money into that. I will put a little in it butt not to much! I also would like to be able to carry it with my dmr.

Go with a G&G Mp5 or M4 unless you can save up about $220 and get Lonex. I have personally loved G&G (as many people will tell you). I've shot over 29,000 rounds as of today through this gun and have played in the snow and totally soaked the gun twice and I have yet to see a problem.

TM Steyr AUG High Cycle ~$375

    Start saving bud. :)

Is actually an awesome guun but as for now you could get away with an mp7. I personnally love the look of them and if uprgaded properly can be quite accurate and nice to use. (I have used my buddy's in skirmishes but have yet to own one)

    Edit: MP40?

    Good luck! ;)

I like the mp7 too! I also like the bullpup designs should I just get a cheaper one and put some money into it?

    Don't listen to this guy...

Any jg will do you fine as long as you shim it. Maybe there g3 with no stock. Or the g3 with the foldable stock. They also make a full stock version but I doubt that you need that.

He did say he would like good performance out of the box. Yes, if you wanna upgrade JG will be great.

He has a dmr... Meaning he's not afraid to go "deep" into a gearbox. When someone says good out of the box. They understand that they need to shim. Shimming is like filing your mag with bbs before shooting. Is something everyone (besides you apparently) does.

The jg m4 stubby I believe has a full stock. It's probably the same length as the g3 version with the stock. I just recommended ones without the stock or with a folding because this isn't something that you plan on using for a main gun so you want something light. The advantage to having that full stock though would be the extra battery space. So it is just a trade off.

You could always just go with a nice gbb pistol.

Thank you for understanding me! (I shim every gun I get). I have a gbb and just wanted a full auto secondary aeg.
