    Hi,

I live in Portugal and there aren't many airsoft stores around here. Because of that i have some very limited options when choosing airsoft guns..

    Price Range (Ex: 100€-200€)

Type of Gun You Want (Electric)

    Preferred Gun Models (M4)

What Role/Type of Play You Will Be Doing/Playing (Field, Assault, CQB)

    Options:

    ICS M4A1 SPORTLINE - 160€

    G&G M4A1 TAN - 160€

CLASSIC ARMY SPORT LINE PREMIUM LWRC M6 – FULL METAL - 167€

CLASSIC ARMY SPORT LINE M15A4 CARBINE (VALUE PACKAGE) - 150€ (includes battery and charger)

So, what do you guys think?

Why? any specific reason? i was sort of inclined to get the ICS due to the spring release button and the modular gearboxes as it would allow me to buy a stronger one right when i get the gun to play on field...

Get le ICS. ICS Sportlines are probably the only sportlines that are worth getting.

I don't think G&Gs are bad but I do think the ICS would be better esp. with the split gearbox design making life easier.

So if I have a LPEG I can just say it's better than a ICS just because I haven't tried one?

I personally would choose the classic army. I have had a ca sportline and it was actually really good for the price.

No not with a gun that everybody knows is crappy, bcuz you can't compare a gun with plastic internals to a gun with full metal internals, now I'm not saying I don't like ics im just saying that from my experience I know that g&g is a very good brand....

Apparently the only difference between ICS proline and sportline is the metal vs plastic reciever and a different motor. A high torque in the proline vs a high speed in the sportline.

I believe I have the Classic Army Sportline M4 value package listed in your choices but I wouldn't recommend it over ICS sportline. ICS's sportline internals are better than Classic Army's internals except maybe the hop up. The two other choices I do not know enough about.

I would say the ICS Sportline is the best choice.

Here's a very useful guide on ICS M4's by a self proclaimed "M4 Guru": http://www.airsoftretreat.com/forums/index.php?topic=93066.0

    Definitely the ICS.

The only thing "Sportline" about it is that the ICS Sportline has the ICS "Super Power" motor and the Proline has the ICS Turbo 3000. The Proline also has a metal body.

Other than that, the ICS Sportline is basically the Proline.

You clearly did not look at what the OP said, you recommended a king arms but the OP has a list of guns he has available to him, in those is the ICS sportline m4 which is the best one in the list for reasons stated by other posters

Kinda thread jacking but I'll answer since it may help the OP, yes ICS split gearbox design makes it definitely better than G&Gs guns.
