Eh it's loosely based off of the Honey Badger.

    And it's ARES....

If they sell the stocks that would be cool.

You can buy a hk416 wire stock on shootercbgear. No need to spend probably twice as much on inferior ares crap

Yeah not a big fan of Ares myself but they make nice looking rifles. I like the receiver on this one.....

Ares isn't that bad... Their lower end stuff is crappy, but their higher end stuff, while somewhat hard to tech on, is quite good.

I'm actually planning on getting the Ares Am-013, or the Honey Badger as it's called. That is, if it's ever released!

I've had some higher end Ares guns and they've performed fine. I'd venture to say that 75% of those knocking Ares have never even owned one.

Ares has some propriatery parts that suck, and they can be a pain to work on. But they have beautiful externals, so its a trade off.

I like Ares guns. While a pain to work on in some areas, they perform fine stock and have really good externals.

I personally just think it will be cheaper to buy their version of the Honey Badger than making my own. If the internals go to crap, I'll worry about fixing it then.

If this isn't too expensive I might be looking into the black one, depending on part compatibility of course. Time will tell.

So upon doing some research...it has a polymer lower and upper receiver.

    I'm out.

This. $250 for a polymer replica that SHOULD be metal is a no-go.
