Today when I was Swiss cheesing my piston for my echo 1 g36c, I looked at the gearbox shell and saw that it had been radiused. I bought it new from asgi so that eliminates the possibility of a previous owner raidiusing it. I found it really interesting that echo1 had the gearbox radiused. My question is that did your guys's JG or cyma gearboxes come radiused?

Okay thanks. That's pretty much the same thing here. At least it's there.

This happens with some gearboxes, I can't give you a list but this is actually somewhat common.

Is the front of your shell radiused? The back doesn't matter at all.

I don't need to see pictures. Just remember that radiusing is about making the corners larger. If it's still got corners, it can still crack.

This is a step in the right direction for manufacturers though.
