I'm switching over to a tan loadout over the next year or so, and I want to start off with a tan PC or Vest.

I'm Average height (5'10") and thin built so both most likely will fit alright.

    I carry 10x 30rd stadnag m4 magazines, a compact pistol, 2-4 pistol mags, and a walkie talkie.

I play feild and cqb. I'm already leaning twords a tan carrier, but I could do a vest.

    Budget: $100

My very Max budget is $130

At that price point, you're real low on options. You need something that has a lot of space to pack 10 STANAG mags on it along with a hand full of pistol mags plus whatever utility pouches you might need. Generally, a CIRAS gives you the most space, but there are no good CIRAS's for anywhere near your price range. You'll want the EPC in khaki:

It's a great vest and I use the real Eagle Industries version myself. It's got a lot of space and it's relatively light weight. The pouch set gives you capacity for 8 mags. You could tack on another pouch (Pouch) and be set. For your budget and your needs, this is really the only decent option. It's on sale for Christmas, so you'll want to order before A) the price goes back up or B) it goes out of stock because everybody else buys it on sale.

    I'm buying the pouches seperately.

The plate carrier I want flat

What do you mean "flat"? If you just mean without pouches, you've still got pretty much the same options. Here's the EPC without pouches:

You might be able to swing it with a 6094, but your space is going to be real tight:

The CIRAS is still too expensive. An MBSS or FAPC is going to be too small by a long shot, as is the RRV. You could possibly pair the RRV with a belt rig and get your desired capacity, but it'll cost more.

No problem. Like I said, I use that vest myself. It's a great design, though perhaps a tad out dated compared to the newest generation of plate carriers. But it's still solid, comfortable, and versatile. You'll enjoy it.

It's khaki, but yeah that's it. The white balance is a little off in those pictures. Here's a gear color comparison guide I put up that features that vest:

The EI EPC is on the right hand side. That's probably the most accurate representation of the true color of the vest. Obviously your monitor settings are going to change that a bit, but it shouldn't be much.

Thanks, I will look long and hard at this and make a decision.

I like that first one right now, in khaki or CB
