Meh kinda an odd question right? Well anyways lets start off. I'm 5'9 and wight 180. That's about 20lbs over the average weight of a 16 yr old. I've lifted about 10 times in my life, mostly due to the fact that I don't have time or a location to lift. Over the summer I did not exercise much. I've ran a couple of times this past week, but that's really it other than going to the gym those 10 times. I'd go when we were away at a hotel ect. Well it's jr year for me and I don't want to be over weight anymore. I plan to go to the school gym about 2-3 times in a week. I swim competitively as well but I find myself eating more good than normal after practices. How can I make my self full without eating as much? And how can I get into the cycle of working out too? Odd question but I know you guys can help.

Edit: an how this relates to airsoft? I would be able to play for longer an be more effective and have more fun. Also, if I do join the marines, it would help ALOT to be in shape before. Links, videos, whatever is fine.

I've lost about 50 since April. Not really by working out or anything. Just that depression diet lol, been living on nicotine and hatred for a while. On the upside I went from size 48 jeans down to size 44, and even those have a little wiggle room, just not so much that I can go down to 42 yet.

Doing work in Cali where the lockdown was in full effect up until the last couple weeks was hell on my diet structure.

Been back in WA for a couple weeks and started up on a cut.
Started 217.6 March 9th and have hit 206.0 today. Most of that is water weight but so far so good.

I did mess up my back last week though.
Warming up on squats I popped something and by the time I got home is was bad enough that it took me 5 minutes to get out of the car.

I’ve been on anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxers since Monday morning and had a PT appointment yesterday.
PT said my symptoms ticked all the boxes for it being a disk issue, but none of the stretches or ROM tests were positively confirming it was a disk issue.
Either the meds are working that well and I’ll see how I feel this weekend when I’m out of them, or it’s an injury to something adjacent to the nerves coming out of the spine and it will clear up in a few weeks when the inflammation dies down.

If you are interested I can PM you a couple meal plans and workout routines I've acquired over the last few years.

I've been seeing good results lately with just the 100 pushups a day thing and adding chin ups and pull ups daily. Been at it over a month and im getting a ton of definition and a little bit a of size as well.

I understand that you’re going through a tough time right now. You’ve been working hard to lose weight, and you’ve made great progress. But then you injured your back, and it’s been really frustrating.
I’m glad you’re seeing a physical therapist. They can help you figure out what’s wrong with your back and how to get better. It sounds like they’re thinking it might be a disk issue, but they’re not sure yet.
I know it’s hard to be patient, but it’s important to give your back time to heal. The meds are probably helping, and the PT exercises will help too. But it’s going to take some time.
In the meantime, there are a few things you can do to help your back heal. First, make sure you’re getting enough rest. Your body needs time to repair itself. Second, avoid activities that aggravate your back pain. This might mean taking a break from squats, or even from working out altogether. Third, ice your back regularly. This will help to reduce inflammation and pain.
It’s also important to stay positive. I know it’s hard when you’re in pain, but it’s important to remember that you will get better. Just keep following your doctor’s orders, and be patient. You’ll be back to squatting in no time.
