This is a thread for the discussion of the Olympic games (if there is already a thread for this I give my deepest apologies, I did search).

I was watching Women's Beach Volleyball the other night and it was the Czech Republic vs. the USA, did you see that one Shifty?

My bad, I just remember seeing the name of the thread a few days ago. PS: I don't watch sports.

That's just th politically correct way of saying "Watch the scantily clad women jump up and down"

I watch the swimming events and fencing the most. Dana Vollmer actually lives in my town.

    I love women's soccer. <3
Swimming's cool too, I used to swim competively, but quit due to time.

I love fencing, I fenced for my college for a semester, I'm too fat though so I wasn't very good. I quit cuz the equipment costs were cutting into my airsoft monies.

I loved swimming. There was hardly any cost... But it was sooo time consuming... When I got into the upper swim team they practiced every day in the summer 7am-5pm and during the school year 5pm-8pm... It was ridiculous, a great workout no doubt. But now I regret quiting cause I was told I was really good... In my first year I swam a 200 (4 lengths) butterfly and won.

So now, I kinda feel like I could have made it to the Olympics....
