I am looking at building a gun from the ground up or do some upgrades on a g&p m16
Do some upgrades on the G&P M16. It's an excellent base gun.
So a new piston, hop up, Tb barrel, motor( slower), and bucking. Anything else and what should i get
If you're going for accuracy, you need a quality hop up, quality heavy weight bbs, and solid compression. The rest is durability upgrades.
My brands of choice, Check out the R-hop or ER-hop, Bioshot .32s, and love for the compression. Being it's a G&P, the stock compression should be pretty solid.
For durability upgrades, I'd get a new piston and piston head, Lonex, and leave it at that until something breaks. The stock motor is fine, as are the gears pulling the stock spring. If you care to upgrade your fps any, you should replace the motor and gears.
ER-hop + .29 SGM = win
Thanks, im looking for 800 rpm (or 13 1/3 rps) and to do no fps upgrades.
How much will it cost total after those upgrades, ive got to go to school and a late party, so i dont have anytime.
Why do you want such a low rpm?
Price wise, could cost you as low as $15 or $17 if all you get is the r-hop patches.
I like the idea of low ammo conumtion.
Fast and your midcap only lasts a second or two
-___- 130 round midcaps last more than a second or two.
You have not seen my friends kwa sr7
It broke after 3 weeks
Right, but 13 rps is really really low, 25 rps would still get your mid cap to last 5 seconds, but I do believe it's your choice huh. Whatever just throwing it out there there are bigger mids out there.
Then your friend did something wrong.
As are you, by wanting a slower rifle. You want to use less ammo, trigger control is your friend. Don't just hold your trigger down unnecessarily for 2 seconds. Bursts are just as effective. Slowing your rate of fire down will only slow your effectiveness as a player.
You are in no means the land of extreme with that G&P M120. Your gun doesn't shoot ANYWHERE near 57rps, probably about 20rps if I had to guess. A midcap with 130rnds would last a little more than 6 seconds of continuous fire. By lowering your rate of fire to 13rps, you are only increasing the time per mag by 4 seconds, and decreasing your chances of hitting your target.
If you really want to save money on ammo...buy a bolt action rifle lol
57rps KWA that broke after 3 weeks?
It's called a fail.
There are guns shooting 80+ rps and still last a long while....
It was stock and he acted as our gunner with a 3 3000rd drum mags
Stock KWA that shoots over 57rps, I'm sorry, you are full of crap.....
No wonder you're so worried, G&Ps and KWAs shoot about the same rps stock, which is nowhere close to 57rps. Like I said before, 20ish is what you're looking at.
With a 10s Lipo...maybe.
He had a 11.1 and claimed it was stock, al i know is it shot 57rps on average and we had to let him use our drum mags
Well...no way it could last 3 weeks....
I'll give it 3 seconds....
Again, he must had gotten lucky.
I think i might just get a low voltage 8.4v battary so i get less than 1000rpm
I want to not make to much noise. my friends, not so much
