    Have an epic wingun revolver with around 425 fps and i hit my bro from a pretty close range, and it left him bleeding with a big mark, is there a difference between fps and the power of the bullet, sorry if you no understand

    I really don't see why this thread is in general discussion. And airsoft guns don't fire bullets, they fire bbs. Fps is the speed at which the bb is fired (usually also states what gram of bb is used for the test). That is pretty much "power of the bullet" as you put it.

    Now, you might be wondering about bb weight. A higher weighted bb brings down fps and increases accuracy, but that does not mean that it won't make you bleed. The joule of the bb will still be the same.

    To compare joules and fps and bb grams, look at this chart I made for the airsoft field I ref at:

    1.5 Joules Chart

    .12g = 520fps
    .20g = 400fps
    ,23g = 375fps
    .25g = 360fps
    .28g = 340fps
    .30g = 328fps
    .36g = 300fps
    .38g = 292fps
    .40g = 285fps
    .43g = 275fps
