I got my CM035 today, and I've run into a problem, the spring that holds the charging handle back, slipped out of the little metal piece. When ever I tilt the gun back, the charging handle goes back a little bit, and requires me to push it in manually. Can anyone help me?

Another problem is that when I put the charging handle back into place, it catches onto the hop-up lever and pushes it all the way up.

Put it back to where it slipped from and shorten the little handle of the hop up arm.

I've tried that, but it did not work, There is a little metal piece that I assume is where the spring belongs, and I will shorten the little arm. It's really annoying since this is going to be my primary gun and it's already having problems. How can I put the spring back into place?

Oy, it's getting problematic even more-so because the charging handle takes the hop up back with it, and it drops every time it tilts downward.

Instead of describing it, post pictures.

Did you take the gun apart? The spring is supposed to be clung to the small piece of metal you can see in the center of the first picture.

No I didn't take it apart. I was adjusting hopup and that happened.

Anyone help? This is getting frustrating

Did my advice not help you? Have you even considered trying to put the spring the way I put it?

Also, please try not to double post. It makes the forum look messy.

What do you mean by the little metal part? I've tried pushing it back in but it doesn't work.

Where there is the red ellipse, there is usually a piece of metal sticking out of the GB. You need to push the spring in front of it. That means that the spring has to be pushing towards both the piece of metal and the charging handle.

Well then try to glue it to the metal. Make the piece a bit larger.

I have no idea how to do that :I. It looks like it shaved off some of the metal piece, it's sliding out really easily now.

So, can you bend the piece of metal? the one coming out of the GB?

No, I cannot. It seems durable enough to NOT be bent. This is really getting me pissed :I

Well, then put a washer on the place instead of the little piece of metal. Come on, this is common knowledge. If something is too small, you put something bigger instead of it.

Hey, I have hat model and same happened so I Have mine set up like this. Although you can't pull the charging handle back all the way. It stops halfway but it has a loud sound.

The spring is behind the ch and just put the silver piece behind the spring.
