Ok, so I've had my ps3 for awhile, and we just got a new t.v. When I'm using that t.v, which uses a HDMI cable, I have horrible input lag. Is there anyway to solve this?

What brand/model TV, is it the slim PS3?

    It's the fat 60gb ps3 and the t.v is a Sharp 60 in. Aquos.

Well, not quite sure, it may just be the older PS3 grouped with a newer TV.
Don't listen to people who say to get gold played or the highly expensive cables though, it's truly a myth. My Father is a software/tech guy and knows all about this stuff.

The ps3 needs to calibrate with the new tv now I'm not a ps3 expert but I believe there is a manual calibration in the system or on the game, if not after a while the system will get used to the tv and should fix itself.

The same thing happened to me with my XBOX. On my tv there was a program setting that is used for games, see if there is one on yours.
