Hey guys, about to purchase my first molle rig, and here is what I am getting

    http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=770{3}59

All of this will be in Khaki and I am looking for something lightweight and cool that can hold 4-6 mags but can also have room for additional pouches. The Wasatch seems to be perfect (I was deciding between the Wasatch and RRV). I will be wearing Khaki tactical pants and an od green Tshirt under this. Does this look good or should I save up for a light weight PC that overs more space?

    Thanks

I'd go with either full khaki or full OD green, instead of having a mix.

Go with the RRV and a set of mag pouches instead. I know it's a little more expensive to start out, but it'll be a far more flexible kit. Those built in mag pouches on the Weesatch really limit your options with that rig.

Yes. I myself own a RRV, and couldn't be happier. You can first use it as a full vest set with a lot of MOLLE space for accessories, mags, medical supplies, etc. On hot days, I live in Las Vegas, you can drop the bib and run a low profile rig to ventilate body heat or for something different. There's also a PC backplate you can purchase later with MOLLE for hydration pack or other accessory. It's definitely worth the buy in Flyye or Pantac if RS is out of your range.

What I've always liked is one of those (those:http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_50_80_98&products_id=764) but also two of these (these: http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_50_80_98&products_id=762). It gives you a full load of 8 mags total, but you can also run any combination of 2, 4, 6, or 8. If you get two of the double pouches, you get either four mags or eight mags. You're also a little more limited on where you put them on your vest. You can split the single pouches and run them in different locations as you so desire.

One last question, Im trying to decide between Khaki or Coyote Brown for my setup. I will be running multicam or od TruSpec pants which color scheme goes better with multicam?

The coyote brown. Maybe just me but, multicam always has a little brown to it. Khaki looks too light. Both will look at LEST decent if not great.

I actually greatly prefer khaki with multicam. Multicam isn't a very dark camo and EI khaki is right in the tonal range with it. If you go darker, the vest stands out a bit against the pattern and you get higher contrast. Higher contrast is no good when you're camouflaging yourself.

Ok so I ordered everything last night from Shooter BC. Ordered 2 days ago but something I wanted was out of stock and they informed me so I just canceled my order and did a slightly different order. I have to say up to this point Shooter BC has been awesome at contacting me and shipping my stuff out fast. Service wise its probably the best airsoft company I have dealt with other than Ehobby. On to what I ordered

    http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_50_85&products_id=1025 in OD

Well thats it. With this stuff my base load out will be close to done other then the TruSpec Multicam pants and a good wicking shirt.

Nice quality rig. It should last you for a very long time, unless someone actually shoots real bullets at you, which means you're clearly at the wrong game.

Well the RRV and all my gear arrived. Gotta say its a nice rig. Though it almost does not fit me. I had to tighten the rig belt down to its smallest setting to fit but it did in the end. It is exactly what I need.

On another point can somebody link the hydration carrier that works with the RRV that requires use of zip ties. I know Knief linked it at some point in a another thread but I cannot find it.

Here's the replica MAP he mentioned:
    http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=530

And if the RRV is a bit big, get a replica PACA like this:
    http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=968
to help fill it out a bit. RS operators wear them under RRV's or similarly unprotected rigs and they look pretty awesome.

Khaki is one of the main colors in multicam, and as knief said, it isn't a vary dark camouflage.

Stick with khaki. It won't take that long for it to ship from overseas or come back in stock at AirsoftSmith.
