    Hey everyone!

Ok so I've been reading (and enjoying) everybody's individual loadout threads and I began thinking about how useful a thread like that would be for me considering all the previous gear mistakes I have made in the past. Basically I want to be able to bounce ideas off you guys and have the ability to consult your wisdom :p.

So here's what I have so far. I'm not really attenpting to replicate anyone, just going for a loadout that fits my purposes for field play and will last quality wise (no conderp ;) )

When you talk about a MOLLE holster, are you talking about a nylon holster or a SERPA and a MOLLE platform? Same question for your drop leg.

Yes they're both serpa holsters. A 1911 one for my thigh an the molle platform for my 226 serpa.

Dude, nice kit list. the Speed Freaks are awesome boots, a buddy of mine hunts/trail runs in them.

Why run a BFG 10 speed on the front of the pc when the cumberbund is wide open?

Well, as of now I have the majority of my kit already. Nex up on my list is a helmet, LM4 mags, and comms. So those should be around the $600 range. To tell you the truth I really have no budget. I work so I have the ability to save money decently fast.

I almost prefer to have my mags on my front. However, it cant hurt to try putting it on the cummberbund. Also I think I'm might get sawtooth's instead. I've heard A LOT of good things about them.

Get MOABS, they perform better in cold conditions. Plus you could be cool like me and buy the ventilators and have a great light winter boot and a breathable summer boot. I duck hunted in mine this morning. ;) I love dry blinds.

The PRC-148 and PTT that you have are made to work with real headsets, bud.

    --edit--
Oh, and don't scrunch up your sleeves. Keep them down, roll them up, or cut them (if you're muscular).

The PTT I'm getting is meant to be paired with the Replica PRC-148 but it is compatible with repro headsets.

From all the research I've done, it seems to be the best cost/benefit set up.

Very true. Plus I don't need real crazy powerful radios at the moment. My Comtacs will be legit though.
