I am looking to get a sight or scope for my airsoft gun since my iron sights suck. I am wondering what is better for a 400 fps gun playing in the field, a red dot sight, red dot scope, or any other types of scopes or sights like 4x32 scope or something. I just want to know what people would reccomend.

Yes that sight will work very well for your price range.

Pretty much any red dot of decent quality will get the job done really. I recently purchased a KA 35mm red dot scope. It costs only $36 at wgcshop.com, and it's very accurate.

So what is better for field, a red dot scope or a red dot sight?

Depends on your personal preference really. Some people like to have a scope with some magnification, I prefer regular red dots.

A red dot scope is better for outdoor although the difference is negligible.

You will probably (I know I have) get frustrated with a red dot scope, since the JG m4 is not a particularly accurate gun. I would go with a simple red dot, then your margin of error is much, much less.
