So my Grail has finally reappeared, but there's issues. The mag let's out all the gas after one shot, most likely an oring issue which should be easy enough a fix, but also the catch for the holster/stock lid is busted. Anyone have an idea on repairing/replacing something like that? I'll probably try n grab it just to have peace of mind lol but functionality would be a plus.

From the above it looks like it's just a tab with a 'tooth' or lug that engages with a groove on the stock to hold the butt plate in place? I don't think simply gluing on a new tab would do as that area needs to flex - I'd fix it by making a thin metal piece that rivets to the butt plate and has a rolled end that engages with the groove, same as the original. Mill or file a little channel for it to sit down into on the butt and paint it black, nobody would ever think its not supposed to be that way. Probably be a better latch than the original too as you could adjust the tension by flexing it in or out a little.

This is speculation without having the piece in hand of course.

I think that's all it was but I haven't had it in my hands in a decade. I'm keeping an eye on it, depending on the bid I may try for it
