Hello all, I'm new to airsoft but I have a buddy who used to a lot and he got me interested. Recently I got an Aug a3 from asg and a matrix 1x30 r/gds. As I took it all out today the scope isn't quite working. I feel it a my fault somehow because I'm new though. I've tried twisting the screw knobs on the scope to no avail. I realize you use a screwdeiver or coin to turn it and the dot doesn't seem to go anywhere it is far to the left and down to far as well. I can't move the dot at all, help?

Erm, I don't mean to be patronizing, but if you're just turning the black caps then... those are the caps that cover up the actual adjustment mechanism, which is copper colored.

Also, just because you can't see the dot move doesn't mean it's not actually moving. Try adjust to the right and up to see if that works, though keep in mind that the "R->" arrow indicates that turning the knob that way will move your dot to the left. The "Right" indicates that the reticle is to the right of the shot's point of impact.

I wasn't turning the black caps, I was using a screwdriver to turn the knobs underneath. Also the dot couldn't have moved I tried turning the knobs to the extreme and it never.iced from the bottom left when.

Then see if you can get a return. Sounds like your red dot is defective.
