What size screw is used to secure the main adjustment gear on the Lonex M4 Hop-Up Chamber? M2 is too small, M2.5 is too big. Talking about this piece:
So it probably is an M2 than since M2.5 is wider than the hole. I will look for M2x0.4mm instead of M2x0.25mm. E: Wait, it looks like M2x0.4mm is the normal size for M2. Maybe it's an M2.2? I'll find a screw that works eventually lol.
M2x3.5x0.4mm wide button head. Your hole doesn't look threaded though. Can count about 9 threads, 3.5/9~0.39
Maybe the M2 screws I have are really out of spec. I did buy them off Amazon. They measure 1.8x5.8x0.34mm. I ordered some proper M2x0.4mm screws from McMaster so if those don't fit than maybe the inside threads yeeted.
If the new screws don't work than I'll see if I can rethread it to M3 or find a other way to keep it on there. Are you talking like wood/plastic screw coarse or some custom screw size that I'll never find? aotsukisho's picture and measurements look to be a normal machine screw.
It's a self tapping screw for who is going to make a tap for a ~.7mm hole...not to mention it is an inefficient manufacturing process. Like this: https://www.amazon.com/Self-Tapping-Screws-Phillips-Truss-Carton/dp/B07CZ2LW44
The M2 screws from McMaster came today. They work. I got the pan head type and used a few shims to hold the gear down. I'm sure McMaster has the wide button head screws. I didn't care enough to look for them. These are M2x0.4mm, 5mm long. MMC P# - 92000A012. The M2 screws I got from Amazon are either trash or got mixed in with the wrong size.
