As the title states above, what pistol do you guys recommend as a sidearm?

    What I am looking for...
    A- Range
    B- Accuracy
    C- Blowback
    D- Gas/c02

    Edit!

*Price range, keep it under 200 dollars, please. Thank you.

    *Any gun model will do.

Do you have any particular gun models in mind? What about a price range?

Take a gander at TM...might be stretching your budget a bit, but other than that...

Definitely not with his budget. OP, if you can find one, go with a TM.

You have a point, but he doesn't have to spend $200 on a sidearm!

$$ is not always the answer to a good gun. Do you own a $200 gas pistol?

I do. And it is far better than the ones I have that cost $150 or less. Airsoft is very much a get what you pay for. If you want reliable?', get TM. They have plenty of models sub $200.

    16harrij and deanb,

I understand that you guys are new to the sport and probably both love the pistols you have. But you need to understand that there's a whole world of high quality GBB pistols out there that you have little to no experience with. Guys like Lil_Shaddy have been seriously involved with the gas pistol market for years and very much know what they're talking about. You're at the point where you're starting to gain some basic knowledge of beginner gear, but I promise you, the Airsoft universe goes way deeper than you can even imagine at this point. Do yourselves and the members of this forum a favor and spend more time reading. Open threads like this, but instead of posting, just pay attention to the responses. Then, do some searching on the recommendations. If you do that, you'll learn a heck of a lot from the guys who are experts in their realms.

    Pumpkin,

TM and KSC (not KWA) are my go-to brands, and just about any pistol on the market from either of them is fantastic. That said, if you're not set on any particular model, I can't say enough good things about the TM Five-seveN. I got to do some shooting with one recently and I was absolutely blown away with it's accuracy at range. I was consistently one-shotting a 3"x3" target at about 150 feet. That's unheard of for a GBB. It will be my next GBB purchase. The thing is incredible.

Any idea what kind of holster would fit a TM Five-SeveN?

Spare mags can be had from Evike and WGC shop. I carry mine in a Serpa holster.

A SERPA is your best bet. Kydex holsters are the wave of the future (we're in the future, they're the wave of the present), and the SERPA drop leg is one of the best platforms I've ever used. Get one and don't look back.
